PBR Lockhart Smokehouse to Open at Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville, Alabama
PBR Lockhart Smokehouse, the highly anticipated premier barbecue and country-western dining destination, is opening at Bridge Street Town Centre on Thursday, October 20. The restaurant will officially open at 5 p.m. for a grand opening celebration featuring performances by National Recording Artists and CMA nominated duo LOCASH with special guests Austin Bohannon Band. The concert will begin at 6 p.m. and is open to the public and free to attend.
PBR Lockhart Smokehouse fuses the ‘cowboy cool’ spirit of PBR Cowboy Bar and Lockhart Smokehouse’s iconic Central Texas barbecue into one exciting, action-packed celebration of food and entertainment. The new venue will feature the best in country music, premier sports watching and bull riding on the area’s only professionally endorsed mechanical bull. As this is the first Lockhart Smokehouse concept to open outside the state of Texas, the Huntsville community is in for a treat. The family-owned restaurant is known for its legendary Central Texas BBQ, with award-winning dishes and deep roots in the barbecue community.
The menu for PBR Lockhart Smokehouse is extensive and includes its signature smoked Beef Brisket, Half or Whole Chicken, Pork Chops, Ribs, and Original or Jalapeno Kreuz Sausage, alongside some outstanding barbecue sides including Smoked Baked Beans, Lockhart’s Slaw, Blue Cheese Slaw, Brisket Deviled Eggs, Potato Salad, Mac n’ Cheese and Cornbread. Beverage options include a collection of innovative specialty cocktails, draft & bottled beer, and wine. Brunch will be available on the weekends, featuring a build-your own Bloody Mary bar alongside Lockhart’s famous barbecue with a brunch twist and acoustic live music. Burnt End Bloody Marys, Mimosas, and more will accompany the delicious brunch menu. All food menu items will be available for take-out or delivery and catering will be available for both on-site pick up and drop off for groups of any size.
Led by Beth Bloom Designs, PBR Lockhart Smokehouse will show off a beautiful western chic environment inspired by PBR Cowboy Bar’s iconic country western experience. Reclaimed wood paired with polished materials and elements of rustic charm, combined with authentic smokers and custom western chandeliers, will create a fun western chic vibe to enjoy barbecue and beer. The main restaurant space will feature a grand signature bar with an elevated rustic feel that blends copper, textured wood and illuminated ribbed glass. The restaurant flows out to an incredible outdoor patio for dining and socializing. Adorned with comfortable seating, fire pits and string lights, this casual, sophisticated space will welcome guests who want to dine al fresco both day and night.
